Not everyone is excited about this but honestly it is so vital to your life ,your lifestyle, how you feel about yourself and others, and the ability to live your life as you would like.
Think about what you understand about your communiication skills. Why do you even care about them, even though you know you need to. Oh my what an accomplishment.
Learning good communication skills is something that has to be worked on and worked on. It may mean changing things in your life and is not to be taken lightly.
Start by learning how to compliment another and really mean it. Remember you can not sound gushy, insincere, phoney, or over practiced. It has to come from your heart or gut.
Do not compare your children, to other children, sisters or brothers. Your spouse to others spouses etc. Comparing someone to another could really ruin all your efforts at communication.
Be appreciative of the work one is making on commication. This could be at home or at work. Could even be in a club you belong to. Try to meet them halfway. Imperative you all make a list of the communication issues bothering you and write down your solutions. Refer back to them often to see how things are progressing.
