First of all went to a nice birthday celebration for our daughter Kathy given by her family. Kathy had one of those life changing birthdays plus she had moved and this was my journey to see her new home. Traveling not my great idea of fun anymore.
She has a young grandson who is going to be, already is, a joy in her life. This move will make her a part of his growing years. Think of scrapbooking many wonderful memories.
Thanks again Kacey (granddaughter) for picking me up and doing all the driving. Kacey and I always have a lot to talk about. Mom, brother and her lived with my husband and I for a short period of time when she was growing up. Now she is a great role model for other young women in their thirties. I do have several grandchildren, both male and female who are such good role models.
House is such a nice home. I know much clean up work has been done by Kathy, her family, her sister Mary and husband Jeff, such as removing animals that thought the back yard had become their playground.
Fun birthday party, fun time. I did not do anything to contribute to the meals. I really hate cooking, but I am a good sorter of the great treasures we all save and take from place to place.
Thank you to all who were able to help Kathy realize her dream. Thank you to all who contributed to the birthday party. Her kids (Colin and Kacey) cooked all day. There are others who helped in the family, thank you to them also for their mental support, encouragement and most of all love. I know you were all there in spirit.
