Thanks to Cindy and David for a great breakfast last weekend on Saturday, and for taking us to see Sarah and Adrian, granddaughter and her husband. They are currently spending some time in the hospital. Another story for another time. Cindy and David were instrumental in selecting a new oven which I personally was dreading. Love new stove now.
Daughter Kathy called this weekend and invited us to see another granddaughter, Kacey and her beautiful new apartment . Going out for breakfast was also part of the invite.
Daughter Kathy picked us up and we got a timely start. It does take awhile to get to Kacey’s from where we live and traffic is always an adventure in itself.
Husband thought we should stop at a farmers market also, but we voted him down as it was getting late . He was a little sad because we said no. Another time, another day!
Kacey came out to meet us. Her apartment is love. She has put much thought into decorating it. One of her closest friends visiting her was a big help. Everything was thought out. The picture presentations are beautiful , different and well thought out. No color just black, white and gray. Really neat.
Went out to go to for breakfast, but could not find a breakfast where waiting was not a problem. So we did the next best thing we got chicken from a site for sore eyes. We no longer have one of these places on our side of town. Great breakfast! Mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, corn and rolls. Kacey had also made cookies and her grandfather had his share .
Good fun and getting home did not seem to take us as long as going did. Thank you Kathy and Kacey for such a nice time. Thank you to Tracy, another daughter for helping pay for our unusual breakfast.
