The End!

The End!

The end came last Sunday September 21, 2025. My wonderful husband of many many years died peacefully. He was trying to watch the football game, but did not make it through the whole game.

It was a struggle for all of us to let go, even though we knew it was time. We did lots of praying, singing and crying at the end. Of course we had a few ups and downs during the whole process as any family who is losing a loved one does.

My family came together as thoughtful, loving, caring and prayerful. They have done so much I will never be able to repay them. I can not list all the things that they took care of because it would cover this page and more. Big cheers to our daughter in Texas who has been ill and could not make it to the funeral. She became her fathers #1 cheer leader online. It was so tough for her and her family not to be with us.

Don’t want to forget our oldest grandson who came in early and stayed late. He was such a big help with much cleanup and running errands, before he left to go back home.

So many other people to thank so more coming in the next blog. Thank you one and all. I am sure I will be saying that frequently in the next month or so.

Peace and love to all of you BarbT
