What is causing stress in your life is often not clearly defined. You have to take time to look at a day in your life, a week in your life and then a month in your life. Suddenly a bright light goes off. You realize you never recuperate from one stressful event before there is another stressful event.
STOP EVERYTHING! Take time to evaluate this subject thoroughly:
- Who, What is causing you the most stress right now?
- Take some quiet time and write down those things you see stressing you the most.
- Look at your list and determine who is at fault? You or someone else?
- Work on one thing at a time and figure out how you are going to change it.
Start small and when you see one thing is working, congratulate yourself on doing a good job.
Relieving stress mean taking time for yourself. Remember stress means different things to different people. Right now you are concerned with your stress and how you can change it.
