September is just a little over a monthy away and I honestly don’t where this summer has gone. It has been too hot for me most of the time. Summers in Indiana have always left us guessing. First part of the summer was very rainy and our grass grew like crazy, now it has been so dry it is hardly growing at all. However we have had some rain the last few days and it starting to look like grass should.
Looking forward to fall and hopefully all the beautiful colors. We need to enjoy fall making it easier to step into winter. Our leaves and trees are something to behold in the fall, if everything just falls the right way. Little pun there, because we always have lots of leaves with a beautiful fall. It can be such a relaxing time. Makes you want to see scenery.
This has been a summer of learning. Actually learning so much my brain feels overwhelmed. It talks to me daily and I don’t always understand what it is trying to tell me. A big big thank you to our daughter Susan for all her help and thanks to her family for putting up with me. Didn’t know a thing about zoom before this summer, but have sure learned more than I ever thought I would. Susan will say now mother, what did I tell about that before! I actually am beginning to remember some things. Like things written out so I can read over and over again.
