Essential Oils and those wrinkles!

Update from blog written 10/07/2019

Most people , more than most, develop wrinkles as they age. Oh boy you wake up one morning and say to yourself, WRINKLES. How did this happen to me! You may be one of the lucky ones whose wrinkles don’t show up very much, but eventually they will.

We all spend lots of money moisturizing, exercising, going to saunas, getting mud packs etc. trying to ward off the inevitable. You have seen the individual who has gotten botox injections numerous times and all of a sudden this face no longer looks normal. Even sports figures who are getting older are subject to scrutiny.

Essential oils and wrinkles? Are essential oils of any benefit at all. Yes, but it depends on what type of skin you have, how old are you and how much sun damage you have. Essential oils can not make the wrinkle go away but may tighten your skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

It can’t hurt to try an essential oil to lessen the wrinkles you see when you look into a mirror.

Here are a few essential oils suggestions that might help with wrinkles:

  • Sandalwood – may help restore moisture. Hydration helps the skin appear more full and draw less attention those fine lines.
  • Lavender- Helps fight signs of aging’ Researchers say Lavender helps your body produce antioxidants needed to fight aging.
  • Clary Sage – been shown to have antioxidants and might help protect your skin from free radical chemicals that damage the skin.
  • Frankincense – may help tighten skin.

Remember always buy 100 percent pure therapeutic grade and organic essential oils. Find the best carrier oil that benefits you when you decide on a recipe to try. Articles that I have read listed different ones Read up on carrier oils. Always review the safety rules written about oils.
