My husband has been on dialysis now for four years. It has indeed been a new educational experience. The dialysis center that he goes to is wonderful. Of course they have their bad days just like any other practice, but they adjust and begin their jobs all over again professionally.
He spent a few days in the hospital last week . The fistula that was used to do dialysis in his arm, lets say needed a rest. They had to put a catheter in his chest area. Will be interesting to see how his body adjusts to this.
