Tried to come up with a few different cards for you to express your love, appreciation and thanks.

Mom’s are some times just plain worn out as are father’s. They work hard to make things as good as possible, but we all know that does not always happen. As our world is not perfect we tend to remember only the things that did not always go our way. It seems we forget about the trips to the doctor when your ear hurts so bad or the trip to the emergency room for the broken arm or leg. The times your parent’s sat with you when you cried over a broken heart, a lost friend or situation that was going to need lots of extra TLC (tender loving care).

Selections from barb ‘s resource library has a small selection of offerings from me. I am putting these cards there. Please sign in with the password of HELEN. Mother’s Day card, Father’s Day card, and Memories card.

Picture of one of the cards.

The vase in the picture above is from my grandparent’s 50th anniversary celebration many ,many, many years ago. Remember well going to the party, it was such a big deal. We were all excited. In our little old car (Dad always bought 2nd hand) there were 5 kids and 2 adults. We had to travel quite a distance.

We left right at the end of the party and got on the road to travel home. It was raining and not a pretty sight, one of my sister’s said wouldn’t it be funny if we got a flat tire !! Your right, we did and believe me the atmosphere was tense for awhile after that! Thank God we got home safely.
