Positive thinking, have fun doing it.

Many years ago there was a book written by Norman Vincent Peale “The Power of Positive Thinking”. What was written then , holds true even more today in this world of ours.

The importance of living a healthy life, well balanced in all aspects of our lives, emotional, physical and spiritually, takes work. The key word is well balanced. You can not focus on one thing to the detriment of the others. When this happens you find yourself running around wondering what to tackle next and how are you going to ever manage. What can go and what can not.

Start by making a list of what is important right now in your life and grade yourself on how you are handling each thing. Be honest with yourself, if your are really looking how you can change. Remember I said important to you, right now, not me, you.

An example for me, would be getting my office organized! Everyone laughts, but i has become very important to me as I want to find things quickly. Also want to start using my new sewing machine and need organization so part of the room can be dedicated to sewing.

My solution to this problem is spending at least 1/2 hour a day on throwing something away, storing it, filing it etc. Will have to be a tough taskmaster. Organization and plenty of positive thinking. Negativity will have to go.

Look at your list carefully, based on how you graded yourself is there anything you can eliminate? Think of the old report card days, an A was wonderful, B still good , C needs work could do better, D making poor judgement calls, something you need to change, F not a failure, maybe a fault. Determine why you considered it important.

Add a column next to your grades and come up with a way you are going improve, eliminate or change. Let this become a fun assignment for you. It is for you, your benefit.

Remember that essential oils can help with things like concentration, anxiety and stress. I am continually on my education in this area.
