Wish I could work outside for a short time as our flower beds look very weedy. My solution is just get rid of all the flowers. Honestly that is what I would like to do.
There are some beautiful orchids out front and usually I get compliments on the front path to our house especially during July. This year they did not bloom well. There are some beautiful orchids there. Went out and bought a lot of rocks to add to the flower beds when and if I can get them weeded. Not the tiny white ones I used before. Bigger assorted sizes, that I can hopefully smother the weeds as they try to invade the flower space.
Maybe more of a desert look with flowers in pots would be the answer my problem.
We used to sit out back on the patio and swing as the sun was going down. That is not happening this year as it is really too hot.
Keep your chin up and smile. Take one day at a time.
