Got a ton of weeding done yesterday with the help of two of our grandsons, Oscar and Nicholas. They were wonderful about following directions and doing what I needed to get done. Seems like they always get elected to pull weeds in flower beds and move rocks, or garden tools. Nicholas told me yesterday that this was the first time he realized that this was work. Believe me, he and his brother worked very hard. Oscar is a great teacher for his younger brother, showing him how to weed properly.
We are having guests this Friday and Saturday, so we want the yard to look as decent as possible. It is too much for me to do anymore, and let’s face it – people don’t want to weed. Do you enjoy weeding?
The house looks great for company coming, but we still have to freshen up the bathrooms. That is always a must.
