One thing you really have to prep for in getting ready to do a budget is eating out. That sound like nothing but it really is a big deal. Learn when you can go out to eat, and when you cannot.
Everyone has to be involved and really understand what a budget is for and how to prepare for it. It involves discussing breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
#1. You have to have cash to pay for eating out, including tip.
#2. No alcohol when eating out as it is very expensive. That includes non alcohol soda drinks for teenagers and young children. Water for everyone. Sorry but that is the price to pay for going out .
#3. Put a price limit on what can be spent on each person.
By the time you are ready to go out to eat, everyone should be on board and understand budget!!!
