Pinterest! My backward entrance into Pinterest.

Started almost a year ago with Pinterest! Did not understand it and needed help just to set up a basic account. Then had to learn how to pin, learn who I wanted to follow and most of all why I wanted to follow them. What did I want them to do for me?

Right away my numbers skyrocketed (right now my monthly views are at 148.6k) and I thought piece of cake!! My followers are going up also. One thing I noticed with some of my followers was that they are no further along then I am. Oh my goodness what a rude awakening I had. My numbers continued to soar and it was exciting until I realized nothing was really happening. Clicked on pins that I thought would give me all the magic answers on what to do and produce money, as in manna from heaven. Again, nothing was happening! Why!

If the same thing is happening to you, maybe the following will help:

Really evaluating what you want to do with your blog. Essential Oils is where I believe I want to go. I am not sure what I will do with essential oils right now, except continue to educate. What about you!

Remember take one day at a time! Look at what you know and what you have to learn yet. Recent graduate you are miles ahead on what is happening in the online network and digital arena. Put that to good use for you.

Have a plan! Put your ideas down! Put down what date you want to accomplish something by. Doesn’t happen try again.

Start a blog or not. Up to you and where you want to go. Good advice, blogs and email lists, I have found do not grow as fast as everyone would like you to believe. You need to be at the right place at the right time, and then do the right thing to make that blog grow.

Good luck! Cannot really promote until you decide what you want to promote. Don’t sit there paralyzed, move, move, move! That is what I am trying to do#blog#pinterest#network#promote.
