Does your life seem more stressful as you get older ? Do you find your teenagers, your early 20 years old’s are causing many stressful moments in your life? Stress sure sounds like it to me. So how are you going to handle that big, little word. STRESS
- Stop avoiding the things that give you the most stress. Not sure what order to put them in. Make a chart or buy one as I am sure you can find one on Etsy or even find a free one.
- Start now to lay out those issues out in front of you, then work hard to get rid of the biggest stressors. Only you can do that, only you knows what is going on inside of you and you have to determine how to figure out what is eating at you the most.
- What do you do when you have some leisure time? Sit in a chair and worry about what is already worrying you? How about some exercise when you have spare time. Even something as simple deep breathing exercises. You know the old saying in with the good air out with the bad. A short walk even around your home three or four times to start out.
- What about a good humor board? Add a picture to it that tickles your funny bone. Add a picture that one of your children drew. Look for new things to make you laugh.
- Don’t forget to ask for help daily from the Lord above. Don’t just do it once. Small steps forward can be small answers from the Lord helping you move. So move!
