Thinking about Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, ? Never too early to begin.

Ever thought about having a tea on Mother’s Day. With all the decorations for an English Tea. A beautiful table cloth, and those beautiful tea plates or cups and saucers not often used. Flowers set around the room, and a nice breakfast. Special cupcakes made with Mom’s in mind.

One year we had a tea and all the Moms, Step Moms, Grandmothers wore Disney crowns and hats. We went to teahouse and had quiche. It was wonderful. Strictly a woman’s thing . Doing it at home all the family can be included in picking out the decorations and Dad can be in charge of the breakfast.

What about a grilling party on the deck in the backyard on Father’s Day? No work for Dad if he pulled off the English Tea for Mom. Someone else gets to grill. Remember Dad’s enjoy cards, gifts and good wishes also.

Here is a why list that you can think about when you are planning your parent’s celebrations:

Think about the midnight, 4AM feedings.

The last minute costume that had to be made.

The Science project you forgot all about until the night before.

The money you need to help you with your expenses.

The numerous sport games your parents made time to go to or took charge of because no one else had time.

Remember the dance recitals.

How about the days you had your feelings hurt and your parents supported you , not once but many

times.

Enjoy doing for others with love.
